Ahead of the CES 2022 tech convention, Samsung has announced the launching of The Freestyle, an all-new mobile display and entertainment device. The Freestyle is a lightweight, portable device that combines a projector, smart speaker, and ambient lighting device. It is targeted at Gen Z and millennials.
It is equipped with cutting-edge technology and adaptability to provide optimal watching, pleasure, and audio-visual experience. The Freestyle’s flexible cradle rotates 180 degrees, enabling users to project high-quality video everywhere they want it — tables, floors, walls, and even ceilings – without the need for a second screen.
It can be connected to the main power, carried on any trip, and even used in field video productions since it takes batteries for remote operation. The Freestyle can project a crystal-clear picture up to 100 inches in size on any surface, at any angle.
It has a twin passive radiator for clearer and deeper bass without distortion, as well as 360-degree sound radiation for a cinema-like sound experience. When listening to music or audio, the gadget pairs visual effects that may be projected on the wall, floors, or anyplace else using smart technology.
Aside from being compatible with standard wall outlets, the device is a first in that it is the first portable screen that can be connected to a standard E26 light socket without the need for extra cabling. It’s also the first projector with far-field voice control, enabling customers to utilize their favorite voice assistants while using the device hands-free. The Freestyle seems to be just what tech fans have been waiting for.
From January 5 to 7, the Freestyle was on display at CES 2022. Pre-registration for a Freestyle projector-smart speaker is available here. It is now available for $899.
